Switchback publishes fiction, poetry, nonfiction and art. We publish only the very best work we receive and submissions need not address the theme. Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting. The deadline to submit is August 31, 2012. Current will be published in November 2012. Switchback is also accepting entries for our monthly flash contest as well as literary reviews.
Fiction
Please send us only one piece of fiction at a time and only previously unpublished works.

Flash Contest
Contest submissions can be poetry, fiction, nonfiction, or even art but must be 500 words or under.

Reviews
SWITCHBACK publishes reviews of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry.
We greatly prefer reviews of lesser reviewed books or works from small presses published within the last two years. Reviews should be unpublished and run between 500-1500 words.
In your cover letter please specify to which genre editor the review should be directed.
